This is Greenway railway viaduct, by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. He wanted to take the railway to Dartmouth, bridging the Dart a little way downstream from here but the citizens objected so the railway ended at Kingswear on the east side of the river. It would surely have been a spectacular bridge.
