A fair tide and a following wind took us from Dartmouth to Tuckenhay, on Bow creek. The rain became heavy as we landed on the hard at Tuckenhay. However, the company at dinner was happy and the service slow, so it was dark when we embarked for the return journey, under a clear starry sky and again with a following wind.
