Objects in transit and flaky objects on display require specialised containers.

Transit containers:

Construction from the outside in: instructions for care, reflective paint, water resistant skin, thermal insulation, thermal mass, thin moisture buffer layer, anti vibration fittings, artifact.

Display containers, from outside in:

Low IR emitting lighting outside unless fibre optic, Anti vibration plinth, moisture buffer compartment, non-polluting container materials, stable mount, artifact.
